Museum
| The Clay/Algonac Historical Society has a new display building located on the municpal grounds next to the Log Cabin. It houses watercraft from local boat builders such as Chris Craft and Garwood.
The log cabin dates back to the early 1800's and contains many artifacts. It is open on Log Cabin Day in June.
The museum is located in a historic building located at 1240 St. Clair River Drive (across from the Dairy Queen) in downtown Algonac.

| Log Cabin Day
On log cabin day join us at the authentic 1800's log cabin located at 4710 Pte. Tremble Road. The cabin will be open and filled with historical items used by Algonac/Clay Township residents in the past. In addition, there will be an antique quilt display, crafts, farm implements, a DUR station and other artifacts.

Parks
A portion of Algonac State Park is located in Clay Township. The park includes river frontage and camp sites for RV's and/or tents. The park has a boat launch, day use area, archery and trap ranges. Phone # (810) 765-5605
The Clay Township Park is located next to the township offices at 4710 Pte Tremble Road. It has walking paths, playground, pavillion, volleyball court, picnic tables and barbeque grills.

Browne's Field is a park located on Harsens Island across from the ferry. It offers a pavillion, softball field, playground, volleyball and tennis courts.
Clay Township Pier
The Clay Township pier is located at the end of Pearl Beach Blvd right on the North Channel and is a great place to fish or just watch the boats go by.

Library
The Algonac-Clay Branch of the St. Clair County Library serves a population of over 13,000 residents through its many programs, a wide range of materials, and modernized facilities.
