"Phragmites Management Advisory Board Chairman Bob Williams was surprised at how much initial interest was shown in the phragmites control program, hurriedly launched last year.
"We had a meeting in March to introduce it to the whole community," he said. "Even with the rush, we had four times as many than I thought would join. I thought about 30 to 40 people . . . . "
